2023-24 Championship Results
At Nationals held at Lake Barrington in Tasmania between the 5th and 11th May, and based on the total medals tally, the club finished 25th out of 84 clubs behind Manning River RC 19th and Newcastle RC 21st.
At State held at SIRC 25th and 26th May, and again based on the total medals tally the club finished 5th out of 29 clubs behind the likes of Mosman, North Shore Leichhardt and Glebe.
On the overall Rowing NSW point score in the Masters category the club finished 3rd behind North Shore and Leichhardt.
On the CDRA point score, the club finished 2nd behind Hunter Valley Grammer School.
LMRC were again honoured to have rowers selected in representative teams. Trudy MacDonald, for the third time in the State Women’s Quad, Kirstin Berry a reserve in the State Women’s Eight and Jeremy Smith in the State Men's Quad and Lisa Greissl selected as a reserve for the Paris Para-Olympic rowing team.
Lisa Greissl also competed in para events at Open Nationals, as the NSW State Representative in the PR3 Single Scull where she won silver, and as an individual competitor in the single and double para events picking up silver in both.
