Member Safety

Valuable information related to CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

Quick decision making to recognise and assess a cardiac emergency, call for medical assistance and perform CPR procedures will increase the chance of survival for a person who is unconscious and not breathing normally.

Note:  Members may find the AED above the First Aid cabinet adjacent to the middle door of the clubhouse. The unit is designed to audibly guide you through the operational procedure

Safety training at Lake Macquarie Rowing Club is provided by Mid Coast First Aid & Safety Training.  Please contact the club's delegated Safety Officer for the next available session.  Contact details may be found under the webpage tab "About>Committee".
