Cancer Survivors ROWvivor Program

Cancer survivors reclaiming their strength, connection and calm - out on the water.

ROWvivor is a unique “Learn to Row” program designed especially for people who have experienced cancer, are recovering from treatment, or are currently undergoing it. Whether you join for gentle movement, fresh air, or the joy of being part of a crew, ROWvivor offers a safe, supportive, and inspiring space to ‘learn to row’, rebuild confidence and wellbeing.

Led by fellow cancer survivors and volunteer coaches from Lake Macquarie Rowing Club, ROWvivor invites you to rediscover the power of teamwork, laughter, and the quiet rhythm of the oars at sunset on beautiful Lake Macquarie. These ROWvivor ‘Learn to Row’ sessions will be held in late afternoons in February 2026.

Our Information Morning will be held at 10 am, Saturday 24 January 2026, at Lake Macquarie Rowing Club, 1^st Street, Booragul. Come along to meet the team, hear inspiring stories, and find out how you can be part of this uplifting opportunity.
